Long Form, 2nd Section- Beginner's Notes

Second  Section 

15. Carry The Tiger And Return To The Mountain -

          From Cross Hands position,  bring Left hand down, palm facing up, and turn Right hand , Palm facing down. Circle Left hand down and around to shoulder/ear as you pivot Left foot to the Right and step with Right Foot to the back right diagonal. Brush the Right Knee with Right hand and push with Left hand (to back right diagonal) to chest height (same as 1st section Brush Right Knee and Push movement). Turn shoulders slightly to the right, turn Right palm up and circle Right hand up to face height turning Right palm down then around to the left crossing the Left arm, Left hand circles to the Right, palm up near Right elbow, Pull toward your chest with baby finger side of Left hand (palm up) and strike forward, face height with baby finger side of Right hand (palm down). Turn shoulders and both hands a little bit to the Right then pull back (like Roll Back), sit back and continue with the last movements from Grasp the Peacocks Tail (Press and Push, see descriptions from 1st Section Beginner's List).
16. Fist Under The Elbow -

          From the Push, turn both palms down, grab, sit back and pull with both hands to the left, pivot Right Foot, weight mostly on the Right Foot, strike slightly with Right elbow at chest height, Pull with both hands to the Right and sit back putting weight mostly on the Right and strike slightly with Left elbow at chest height, Pick up Left Foot, Circle Right Hand to the Right, back and around to waist palm facing out, as you Block up with Left Hand circling to the Left, half step Left foot (foot faces back Left diagonal), pick up Right foot right away and step to the Right (almost sideways and a little in front from your other foot), continue to bring Right hand up and around in front of face, open outward both hands as you shift weight to the Right, Circle Left hand down and to the front and center, palm facing the right with thumb pointing at your nose, as you bring up the Left foot in half step position ( short step at the instep of the other foot) on the heel, weight on Right Foot, Punch with Right Fist (hole of fist on top) toward Left Forward Diagonal, sit and put a little intent into the Left Heel.
17. Step Back And Repulse The Monkey -
3 times: step back Left, Right Left.
18. Slantingly Flying -
Right foot back to right of center, pivot Left foot, step Right foot
19. Close Hands -
step up and back down left foot, bring Right foot back to half step position on the heel
20. White Crane Spreads Its Wings -
small step right foot on angle, bring Left foot to half step position on the toe
21. Brush Left Knee And Push -
same as 1st section
22. Needle At Sea Bottom -
step up and back down Right foot, bring Left foot back to center, toe pointed down
23. Raise Arms And Push -
step forward Left foot
24. Fist At Waist -
Pivot Left foot, Pivot Right foot to diagonal
25. Step Forward And Punch -
step forward Right foot, circle and retreat, half step right foot, step forward left foot and punch
26. Embrace Peacocks Tail -
both hands to the right, then open (split), pivot left foot, step forward Right Foot then ward off, roll back, press & push
27. Single Whip -
same as 1st section
28. Cloud Hands -
pivot Left foot, Right hand pull down to side, Left foot step sideways and slightly behind, shift weight to Left, pick up Right foot step near Left foot,  repeat for a total of 5 steps
29. Single Whip -
same as 1st section
30. High Pat On Horse -
sit back onto Right foot, Left foot at half step position on the toe
31. Separation Of Right Foot -
Left foot step on Left Diagonal, pull with Left hand strike with Right hand, cross hands and Right side kick
  Separation Of Left Foot -
Right foot step on Right Diagonal, pull with Right hand strike with Left hand, cross hands and Left side kick
32. Turn And Kick -
bring left toe behind Right heel, pivot on heel , Cross Hands and Left Heel Kick
33. Brush Left Knee And Push -
same as 1st section
  Brush Right Knee And Push -
same as 1st section
34. Step Forward And Punch To The Knee -
pivot Right Foot, step Left foot, brush Left knee and punch with Right fist to the knee
35. Fist At The Waist -
(same as #24) Pivot Left foot, Pivot Right foot to diagonal
36. Step Forward And Punch -
(same as #25) step forward Right foot, circle and retreat, half step right foot, step forward left foot and punch
37. Kick With Right Heel -
pivot left foot, cross hands and Right Heel kick
38. Hit The Tiger -
Right foot step down to side of Left foot, step Left foot on diagonal, pull with Right hand, strike with Left fist; open, pivot left foot, step Right foot on diagonal, pull with Left Hand, strike with Right fist
39. Retreat And Kick -
pivot Left foot, sit on left foot and Right Heel Kick
40. Double Wind Through The Ears -
spin on Left foot to Right diagonal, step Right Foot to Right diagnol, fists to ears
41. Kick With Left Heel -
pivot Right Foot, cross hands and Left heel kick
42. Turn And Kick With Right Heel -
spin on right foot, change weight to left foot, cross hands and Right Heel Rick
43. Step Forward And Punch -
half step Right foot, step forward Left foot and punch (same as 1st section)
44. Retreat And Seal -
same as 1st section
45. Cross Hands -
same as 1st section
